Owen’s birthday party in the hospital and meeting Grampy, Elisabeth and Clara.

Trick or treating at home since Mommy got the date of the Trunk or Treat wrong. Daddy ran to Walgreens for candy and then went from room to room in the house so that they could knock on doors and get Halloween goodies! What a fun Daddy!

Celebrating Clara’s birthday – at the park with Grandma and Grandpa and then with friends and family at home.
Everyone wearing the headbands sent by Nana for Clara’s birthday.
At the mall with friends. Let’s just say the the four free punching balloons that we received for Clara’s birthday from the carousel lady made us look like crazy mothers. Picture four children between the ages of 2 and 4, a newborn and recently postpartum mom, and a 37 week pregnant mom and FOUR PUNCHING BALLOONS. And two double strollers. And did I mention the FOUR PUNCHING BALLOONS? We always strive to avoid calling attention to ourselves. That is why we didn’t take any pictures after receiving the balloons…didn’t want to draw undo attention…or maybe I just didn’t have a free hand.
Owen is four weeks old.
Loving his sisters’ attention
Thanksgiving Day – sick little girls, so had breakfast, went to the park and postponed the big meal for the next day!
Our Thanksgiving Feast! So much to thank God for this year!

…or testing his hearing. I am not sure which.
Dinner by the Christmas tree. Maybe next year we will try the Walnut Room in Chicago!
Decorating gingerbread houses – Thank you, Grampy, for making them with us!
Can’t get enough of these smiles!
Two chins for two-months old!
At two months:
Owen likes to be cuddled; sleeps up to a six hour stretch at night and then naps most of the morning; is most social in the evening; is finishing off his size 1 diapers, but probably should be in size 2; is growing into 3-6 month clothing; enjoys watching his big sisters; doesn’t complain during baths, diaper changes, clothing changes.
We love having this sweet boy in our family!
