He is here!

Owen Gregory Polderman was born at 11:15 pm on October 19. He weighs 8 lbs. 10 oz. and is 21.25 inches long. We are thrilled that he has arrived and praise God for this newest blessing and His faithfulness to our family. Owen is named after his maternal great-grandfather, Owen Boothroyd, a godly man and a pillar of faith in our family.

I don't want to forget...

Tonight (10/1) as I was rocking Clara before bed she said (paraphrasing from the last line of the book Corduroy), "Mama, I like you just the way you are, but you would be even better with a kiss!" and she proceeded to give me a sweet kiss on the cheek.
