Elisabeth has started counting, though the number sequence is "1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10." Today, she proudly announced that she had nine toes, after counting the digits on one foot!
Last week at dinner we were explaining opposites to Clara. "The opposite of tall is not tall, or short," I told her. After doing several pairs successfully, I asked her, "What is the opposite of clean?" "Not clean," she replied. "What is another word for 'not clean'?" I coached her. "Laundry?" she asked.
